Preparing For A PassOver
Preparing For A PassOver
As you face a Passover; we must ask What or Who are you looking for? Is it a white light or a person? The Bible says to look unto Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith. The martyr Stephen gives us the greatest insight into who we are looking for. It is Jesus standing at the right hand of the Father. As Stephen dies we hear his cry for those who were stoning him to be forgiven, by the God he sees.
Another area of experience is found in the 23rd Psalm. “Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I shall fear no evil. For thou art with me, thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me.” Again we see Jesus leading us through our death, as our Shepherd.
For a believer the worst experience will be a shadow passing over, that though dark, it does not have the power to hurt. We must go through this as we focus on Jesus the Shepherd that leads us. As we call upon the Lord Jesus Christ, we can reaffirm our faith. “That if thou shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and shall believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead thou shall be saved.”
We are also called to look unto Jesus the Author and Finisher of our faith. Another great verse is: “Come unto Me all ye that are weary and heavy laden and I shall give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn of me for I am meek and lowly in heart.”
Even after this, there still can be fear. We are called to think on good and lovely things.
Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are they that mourn, for they shall be comforted.
Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.
As perfect love cast out all of our fears. Let’s focus on God’s love and character found in these verses:
Charity suffers long, and is kind; charity envies not, charity vaunts not itself, is not puffed up.
Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeks not her own, is not easily provoked, thinks no evil,
Rejoices not in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth.
Bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
Charity never fails.
May God keep us in perfect peace as our mind is stayed on Him.
Lord, into Thy hands I commit my spirit.

PassOver Trials Near Life's End
An Amazing Thing
Step back and see,
An amazing thing,
Jesus can work even through me.
For what you see me do.
I pray that Christ is always in view.
As my gifts are used,
May I be a blessing, too.
As I love my Jesus,
My heart is full of joy.
This joy is what empowers,
From the beginning ot the day,
Till the evening come,
That joy is here to stay.
Soon heaven’s door will be open,
And
I’ll see my Savior’s face.
I will know Him through His grace,
As He provides in that perfect place.
Nehemiah 8:10 … for this day is holy unto our Lord, neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the Lord is your strength.

His Beauty Shown
O’ Lord,
Thy beauty is manifested all around me.
The beauty of a clouded sky,
Like puffs of cotton,
Spread across in lighted splendor.
The beauty of the colored leaves,
I thank you Lord,
That this was meant for me.
I gaze upon the flutterings of wings,
To turn to hear the birds sing of you.
All of creation waits upon Your arrival,
To proclaim the song in their heart,
They’ve held so long now.
I wait, too:
For my first day with you.
Knowing you by my quiet times like this,
Yet seeing you face to face.
Knowing Also that your love for me,
Will show in every word,
In every action that you do.
Romans 8:22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.
PassOver Trials Near Life's End
For One Soul
For one soul,
Has my pain been borne,
For one soul,
I’ll seek His face.
For one soul,
I’ll suffer disgrace.
Why?
For one soul,
He did not turn away,
For that One Soul given,
You see,
Was for me.
He exchanged His life as a plea,
For me to stand before God,
Righteously.
By that One Soul,
I enter eternity.
Like He,
For one soul,
I’m willing to be torn.
For one soul I’ll suffer disgrace,
For even one did He did not turn away.
For that One Soul given,
You see was for me,
Into eternity.
Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
PassOver Trials Near Life's End
I’ve Come As A Servant
Memories of Home,
Have filled my heart.
I’ve walked away,
Can my sin ever depart.
I will come home,
Though a servant be,
Bowing my knee is my only plea.
I started with riches,
With pigs I am now found,
The women, the wine
Are no longer around.
I will come home,
Though a servant be,
Bowing my knee is my only plea.
Father,
I’ve sinned
And
Broken your heart.
Your servant has come home,
Wishing not to depart.
My Father runs to me,
His words declare,
“Welcome my son,
I thought you were dead.”
I say “I am a servant
Nothing more can I be”
He declares to me,
“Son”;
Yet I hear not a word,
As brokenness has lead me home again.
Luke 15:29 But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him.

Intro to Believers' PassOvers
PassOvers
My PassOvers declares hope for Mankind.
As I reach into time and place Myself there. My Grace is provided for all to find.
My first PassOver was designed to picture My future work and yet not satisfy.
A lamb’s blood foreshadowed- a greater Way by which cleansing would come.
The Great PassOver took place in the Middle of history and the fullness of time.
I entered Mankind as a helpless Babe. My calling would be the same as the lamb on the altar slain.
My Cross would be a picture of Love freely offered.
My Mercy,
My Love,
And Justice, true.
My outstretched Arms Declare,
“I Love You,”
“I receive you as a friend, no matter where you are found.”
You see by nature, you are unable to touch the Spiritual Sky.
You are earth bound,
Until you are found in the Heavens in I seated down.
The exchange is made,
Only through faith.
My Work is completed,
And the Promise comes,
Because I’m faithful and true.
There remains personal PassOvers that one must go through,
In order for Heaven to be viewed.
The rest of the Story,
Will now belong to you.
There are the PassOvers of trials that change and transcend.
There are PassOvers that comes as life is near it’s end.
There is the ultimate Passover,
When this body is changed,
And we hear the Words-
“Well Done”
“Enter My Grace”
“God is Faithful, Enter this Place”
PassOver Trials
Trials Of Life
Trials are a way of Life,
We hope to grow,
But
Sometimes all we know is strife.
Is winning the Victory,
The only finished prize?
Is that it,
Or
is there a place where grace is the key,
To this Mystery.
Thanksgiving through each trial,
Allows us to hope
and
see God's smile.
Assured by Faith,
Mercy seen,
a deeper relationship with the
Eternal King.
Philippians 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplications with thanksgiving let your request be known unto God.

Called To Walk Through
O’ Lord,
I see for the first time,
That we are called to walk through the fires,
We are called to walk on water,
And
We are called to touch the Sky.
Fires must be,
Waters must swell,
The Messiah must come.
When we see the winds that be,
The fires grow stronger,
The waves beat longer,
The Savior must come.
O’ Lord,
I cannot call upon you to deliver,
When there is a lesson to be learned.
For we are singed,
We are soaked,
And
Then we are home.
Let us walk through the fires,
Let us walk on water,
Let us touch the Sky,
For today belongs to Jesus Christ.
Matthew 14:29 And He said, Come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.
PassOver Trials
God's Word On It
For the gift of Your Word.
Thank you Lord,
By grace we have learned.
Thank you Lord,
Holy and True,
As Your Word discloses you. Though unseen we can see.
Though a Mystery,
We can know. Though helpless,
We can find help. Though faithless,
You are faithful. May You be all that we (see) know.
May His life be in our place,
As we are crucified,
Yet live,
Resurrected again.
Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
PassOver Trials
Strengthen Me, Lord
Lord, strengthen me.
Encourage me,
Be with me,
Lord.
For I am weak.
Reach inside and strengthen me.
May I wait on Thee,
and find my rest.
The Spirit seeks,
Yet the flesh is weak.
Guard my heart
with a Holy Fire.
Burn up the dross,
that weighs me down.
Lord strengthen me,
Encourage me.
Be with me,
For I am weak,
Reach inside and change me.
2 Corinthians 12:10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecution, in distresses for Christ’s sake, for when I am weak, then am I strong
PassOver Trials
Teach Me Truth
Teach me truth in the ways of suffering.
Teach me peace along the way.
Set my heart to do your will,
as My days go by and by.
Teach my heart to know Your heart,
Teach my mind to know Your secrets, too.
Let me know that You still love me.
May I see the Cross in view,
May I be reminded of the empty tomb.
Our afflictions are but for a moment,
Compared to Eternity's hue.
Lord, come back soon.
Yet wait for him, wait for her.
I am willing to work till the night is seen,
And all our tomorrows are the same because of You.
Philippians 3:10 To know Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His suffering being made conformable unto His death.
PassOver Trials
Trust
O' Lord, I will trust your eyes,
For there are many things I cannot see.
O' Lord I will trust Your Word,
For it reveals what is meant to be.
O' Lord I will trust Your Heart,
For by it I can touch Eternity.
How can I see?
How can I trust?
How can I touch?
It is when God's Spirit sets me free.
It is when God's glory becomes a part of me.
O' Lord I will trust your eyes,
For there are many things I cannot see.
O' Lord I will trust your Word,
For it reveals what is meant to be.
O' Lord I will trust your heart,
For by it I can touch eternity.
Proverbs 3:5,6 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not unto thine own understanding, in all thy ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct thy paths.
PassOver Trials
A Song of Job
Hurt and brokeness has become my song.
O' voice of despair,
sing along,
"Though He slay me,
Yet I sing,
My redeemer lives,
Though unseen."
Those around desire to sift,
No comfort upon thier lips.
O' voice of despair,
sing along,
"Though He slay me,
Yet I sing,
My redeemer lives,
Though unseen,
He is my King."
What is learned from my troubled tale?
God is alive,
Love never fails,
Though broken now,
My joy is found,
as Eternity's Skies,
now surround.
Job 13:15 Though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him.
PassOver Trials
Ways Greater
Ways greater,
Ways higher,
All part of your Majesty.
Ways greater,
Ways higher,
May our prayers change to be.
Oh,
That we might see,
Into the Eyes of Eternity.
Realizing a greater good,
Even from our own sufferings.
Ways greater,
Ways higher,
Resting on the goodness of God.
Ways greater,
Way higher,
A peace that comes only from our beloved.
Isaiah 55:19 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.
